Practice Description

As a trial attorney, Mr. Dean focuses his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction and insurance related matters, including the representation of property owners, contractors, and developers. Mr. Dean has defended and prosecuted claims involving negligent design and construction, catastrophic weather events, contract interpretation disputes, and job site personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Dean also possesses particular expertise in the area of insurance litigation having represented insurance companies and policyholders relating to compliance with common law and statutory duties, claims handling and evaluation and coverage analysis involving commercial and residential properties. Mr. Dean serves as issuer counsel and Assistant Secretary for the Tarrant County Cultural Educational Facilities Finance Corporation and Tarrant County Health Facilities Development Corporation. Mr. Dean has developed particular expertise in the field of tax exempt public revenue bonds and the law of exempt organizations.
