C. Harold Brown

lawyerMr. Brown, as the senior member of the Firm, has a wide range of experience in litigation, probate, family law, and corporate practice. Mr. Brown is Issuer Counsel for the Tarrant County Health Facilities Development Corporation, and he served several years as a member of the Board of Directors of State Automobile and Casualty Insurance Company (Des Moines, Iowa). He is President and a Director of the A. J. and Jessie Duncan Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors of several nationally recognized charitable organizations, including The Gladney Center and the National Council for Adoption.

Christopher J. Pruitt

lawyerMr. Pruitt is the Firm's managing attorney. Mr. Pruitt has defended a wide variety of civil cases in State and Federal Courts throughout Texas. His practice primarily involves insurance defense and coverage litigation, including wrongful death and survival actions, premises liability actions, professional negligence, uninsured/underinsured actions, bad faith actions, coverage issues, products liability, construction litigation, automobile collisions, and general comprehensive liability. He also is actively involved in the practice of eminent domain litigation.

Wiliam B. Peterson

Andrew L. Wambsganss

lawyerMr. Wambsganss serves as general counsel for multiple domestic and international companies. Mr. Wambsganss is involved in many domestic and international business transactions and litigation including mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, oil/gas matters, governmental relations, labor and employment disputes, appellate law and procedure, and public law issues. He also has extensive experience handling corporate and insurance defense cases, premises liability actions, bad faith cases, products liability, workers' compensation matters, and church/non-profit organization related transactions. Mr. Wambsganss is also a certified mediator.

Donald A. Ferrill

lawyerMr. Ferrill is primarily involved in civil litigation and handles insurance defense cases, including professional liability, with a special emphasis on representing veterinarians. He also handles commercial, wrongful death and survival actions, and bad faith litigation. Mr. Ferrill handles state administrative hearings, contract matters, business formations, employment matters, estate planning, probate matters, and appellate law. Mr. Ferrill has extensive appellate experience before the Texas Supreme Court and the Texas Courts of Appeals. Mr. Ferrill is also a certified mediator. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ferrill practiced veterinary medicine for four years in Stephenville, Texas, and continues to maintain his license to practice.

Randal L. Dean

lawyerAs a trial attorney, Mr. Dean focuses his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction and insurance related matters, including the representation of property owners, contractors, and developers. Mr. Dean has defended and prosecuted claims involving negligent design and construction, catastrophic weather events, contract interpretation disputes, and job site personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Michael L. Forman

Chandler L. Grisham

Susan I. Paquet

lawyerMs. Paquet’s law practice is exclusive to Adoption Law and Assisted Reproduction Law. She has practiced in this area of law for over twenty five years. Previous to the practice of law, Ms. Paquet studied and worked in social work related fields.

Included in her law practice are independent domestic adoptions, agency domestic adoptions, international adoptions, contested adoptions, intrastate adoptions, family adoptions, step-parent adoptions, mediation, adoptions involving the Indian Child Welfare Act, drafting of surrogacy agreements and other assisted reproduction work.

R. Mark Oliver

lawyerMr. Oliver’s practice centers around oil and gas related matters, as well as having a more broadly based litigation and transaction practice. He primarily represents landowners in oil and gas matters such as oil and gas leases both within the Barnett Shale field around Fort Worth and throughout Texas, as well as surface use disputes, oil and gas lease termination disputes, royalty owner disputes, underpayment claims, pricing disputes, operational issues, disputes involving seismic data, pipeline disputes, development and drainage disputes, pooling and unitization disputes, disputes between working interest owners, title issues, and other issues pertaining to land and mineral ownership. His transactional practice also includes the negotiation and preparation of pipeline agreements, surface use agreements, seismic and geophysical access agreements, lease amendments, and related operations and landowner’s rights agreements.
