Practice Description

Mr. Brown, as the senior member of the Firm, has a wide range of experience in litigation, probate, family law, and corporate practice. Mr. Brown is Issuer Counsel for the Tarrant County Health Facilities Development Corporation, and he served several years as a member of the Board of Directors of State Automobile and Casualty Insurance Company (Des Moines, Iowa). He is President and a Director of the A. J. and Jessie Duncan Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors of several nationally recognized charitable organizations, including The Gladney Center and the National Council for Adoption. He is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. He previously served as Chairman of the Fort Worth Civil Service Commission and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tarrant County Convention Center. Mr. Brown also maintains special expertise in the field of tax-exempt revenue bonds and the law of exempt organizations.
